MYTHS

Myths was my first solo release, recorded throughout 2019-2020, at my own studio and at the famous RAK studios. It was born from experimenting with different looping technologies, that gradually build up musical crescendos to produce something alternate than traditional songwriting.

Mixing modern recording techniques with older analogue gear (and help from a few close friends), the music evoked landscapes from the past, giving way to the record’s title. Also stylistically it gave way to explore some of the more leftfield genre tropes that have influenced me, such as Krautrock, Sci-Fi soundtracks and Post-Rock.
